The Drift Diver Course comprises 2 main components :
Knowledge development to learn the theoretical basics and safety aspects. Once a course is booked, we assign e-learning materials at the earliest to help you complete theory sections at your pace & convenience, prior to arrival at the dive centre.
Open water dives with a PADI Instructor where you'll master buoyancy and navigation in currents, practice buddy coordination, and learn to use lines, reels, and surface marker buoys for boat contact. You'll also train in safe entries and exits, including quick, controlled descents and ascents in moving water.
We are also happy to conduct the Drift Diver Course alongside your Open Water, Advanced Open Water or other PADI courses to ensure you make the most of the time you spend with us! Just get in touch and we'll be happy to curate a personalized itinerary for you!
We recommend that you visit us at the dive center a day before starting your course to complete paperwork, & get yourself fitted for the equipment you will be using for the next few fun-filled days! Additionally, if you have not dived in over 6 months, we recommend you sign up for a skill refresher prior to starting the course.
