In a dive emergency, knowing how to provide oxygen can make all the difference. The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Course trains you to recognize diving-related injuries and respond effectively using emergency oxygen. Ideal for divers, freedivers, boat crew, lifeguards, or anyone around water, this non-diving specialty has no prerequisites or age limits.
Through theory and hands-on practical sessions, you'll learn how to identify when oxygen is needed, assemble and disassemble oxygen units, and safely administer oxygen using different delivery systems. You'll also practice aiding both breathing and non-breathing divers following proper emergency response procedures.
This one-day course builds essential first-response confidence and complements other rescue or first aid certifications.

The Emergency Oxygen Provider Course comprises 2 main components :
Knowledge development to learn the theoretical basics and safety aspects. Once a course is booked, we assign e-learning materials at the earliest to help you complete theory sections at your pace & convenience, prior to arrival at the dive centre.
Briefing and practical sessions with a PADI Instructor where you'll learn to recognize different kinds of emergencies; techniques to assist breathing and non-breathing individuals; and steps to assemble and disassemble different kinds of oxygen equipment for quick response.
